GPS tracking platform Webhook

Managing MyWakes webhooks is the easiest and fastest way to create your custom events-oriented layer, over MyWakes platform.

In few steps you will be able to configure your personal environment in order to catch any event you want from the platform and obviously, from any device linked with the platform itself, managing it as you wish.

Now, suppose that you need to make some calculation at the end of each trip (i.e. for a car rental service that wants to charge a fee based on the traveled distance).

First of all, you can create an Action, from the MyWakes console, that makes a call to you own Web Service

Then you will configure your device (PickWay, KeepWay, etc.), by selecting the Action you just create, near the “On Power Off” Event.

From now on, your Web Service will be invoked at every device's Power Off, and it will receive, among the many information, the ID of the just closed track.

Using MyWakes APIs now your Web Service will be able to retrieve all the information needed about this track and make all the calculation you want, over traveled distances, times, speeds, and so on.
